Develops and implements age appropriate, research-based pedagogy in music theory, musicianship and acting for the stage. Classroom instruction in groups of 15-20 students with varying levels of prior experience. Other responsibilities include 1:1 instruction in music theory/musicianship and music composition in classical style.

Maintains studio of 5-10 students in Classical Voice, Music Theory, Musicianship and/or Music Composition. Develops and implements age and experientially appropriate course of study tailored to student needs and goals.

Student Teaching: Syosset High School (Syosset, NY)

Develops and implements lessons and curriculum aligned with the National Core Arts Standards in conjunction with Cooperating Teacher in grades 9-12. Responsible for student instruction in subject areas including 9-12 choir (un-auditioned and auditioned); small group and 1:1 lessons; piano accompaniment for choral, chamber and solo performance. Developed and implemented lessons and curriculum aligned with the national core arts standards in conjunction with Cooperating Teacher for students in grades PreK-8. Responsible for instruction and assistance to cooperating teacher in subject areas including PreK general music; elementary recorder; 6-8 choir (un-auditioned and auditioned); 6-8 songwriting/composition.
